Alright! The last post finally worked so we'll see if I can get another one up here... w/out spending all night on it this time. Yeah, definately not all that "technologically savvy" yet.
New York welcomed us nicely! At the beginning of September every year the US Open (tennis, not golf) comes to Queens. This year Shannon and I were watching a match while eating lunch at Madison Square Park. We love that park: it's pretty, not far from the Empire State Building which you can see over the trees, and I pass through it everyday on my walk to school. And I must mention the people watching. Great for that, too. (but anywhere in Manhattan will suffice for that). Anyway, while watching a little "commercial", I guess, on the jumbo screen a question came up asking some absurd trivia statistic like "which US Open champion won the tournament in '63 and '64 and has 2 kids and drives a VW Thing?" followed by instructions to text your answer (A, B, C, or D). I don't remember what the question really asked, but of course being the rediculous tennis nuts that we are, we had no idea. We sent in our answers anyway. Miraculously, Shannon got it right and won a US Tennis Prize Pack (this included a tennis bag, t-shirt, visor, etc.!!! Cool! Then I got a return message telling me I got it wrong. My consolation prize was a mere 2 tickets to the quarter-finals round the next night!!! Don't know how that works, but works for me. We of course went the next night, saw Venus Williams advance and later saw Federer and Roddick play against eachother! I liked tennis before, but I'm a big fan now. Still have no idea who this "famous" champion is that is responsible for me winning those tickets...???

You guys need to buy some lotto tickets.
Every time I asked Damon where we were going today, he said, "Going see Dyean?" or "Going see Shamon?" He LOVES you guys. -Shelly
Hey guys, I tagged you. Now you'll have to put a new entry up on your blog. :) -Shelly
I found you!!! well, your blog at least! I want to come and visit! Like february, when everything is boring... and tickets are cheaper than the usual two billion dollars. So, don't put that air matress away too tight. I miss you two! Reed... I forgot that was sean's last name (and now yours too, shanny!) Congrats! I miss my POLIGIFAMILY!
love you both!
Ok, so the Trythall Boys Bowl was almost as nice as the US OPEN!! How did you manage to have Roddick in your picture too... seriously!! I hope it's really cold in New York right now!!
